Process Tempo pushes queries to the source database and renders the results for the user using a single application layer. Unlike most legacy Business Intelligence platforms, Process Tempo does not require a three-tier architecture nor does it perform in-memory data modification which can make performance suffer and trouble-shooting difficult.
